There are multiple ways of generating electricity and it can be used to power things like the computer, lamps and more.
when making a distribution network, its important that you place the wires down in the same direction that you want the power to flow. eg:
- if you place down a generator, and a power pole, then place the wire from the generator to the pole, you will get power to the pole. however
- if you place down a generator and a power pole, then place the wire from the pole, to the generator, you won't get any power to the pole.
A power pole can power things in a radius of 3-4 blocks, the area isnt symetrical but is a ball of aprox 3,5 blocks radius in all directions.
the power networks from 7dtm is not made to be compatible with RF, MJ or any other power sources.
